Rafting: What to Bring

  • T-shirts
  • Waterproof sunscreen
  • Tennis Shoes
Spring & Fall Wear:
  • Windbreakers

  • Wool Pants
  • Optional: Wool stocking cap and socks
  • Tennis shoes

Ladies you will want to wear shorts over your swimsuit. River shoes such as Tevas are optional but no open back sandals are allowed including flip flops. Please avoid Crocs. If you plan to use tennis shoes we recommend using an old pair as they will definitely get wet. Baseball caps are optional for keeping the sun out of your eyes. If you wear prescription glasses, be sure to attach them with Chum’s or Croakies (available in our retail store). Quick drying fabrics are recommended over cotton which retains water. In cool weather poly and synthetic fabrics are useful as a substitute for wool. If it is cool out we provide complimentary spray jackets and spray pants to wear over your clothes.

What to avoid:

  • Flip flops no-flip-flops
  • Jeans / denim pants
  • In cooler weather: Cotton fabrics
